Sometimes you don’t need a van. You bought a sofa and the store delivers only to the entrance. A wardrobe has to go from one room to another. A truck with goods has arrived and must be unloaded within the hour. For jobs like that we send people only.
What the movers do
- carry furniture, appliances and building materials in and out;
- lift things to the floor when there’s no lift or it’s too small;
- take furniture apart and put it together, with their own tools;
- unload and load trucks, containers and warehouses;
- rearrange furniture inside a flat or an office.
Rigging: pianos, safes, machines
Heavy things are handled by a crew of four or more with rigging straps and a trolley. A piano up the stairs of an old townhouse is an ordinary job, it just has to be planned: tell us about such an item right away so we bring the right equipment and people.
How many movers to order
One or two for single items. Two or three for a flat move. From four for a piano or a safe. If you’re not sure, describe the job on the phone — we’ll advise, and we won’t send extra people.
