A move almost always starts with the question “how many people do we need?”. The answer depends on three things: how much stuff you have, whether there’s a lift and whether furniture has to be taken apart. Two movers shift a one-room flat in Sykhiv with a lift in three to four hours. A three-room flat in a townhouse on Lychakivska, third floor, no lift, with a piano — that’s a different conversation, and we’ll say so honestly on the phone.
What we do during a move
- bring boxes, stretch film, bubble wrap and cardboard for corners;
- pack dishes, books, appliances, chandeliers — or only what you haven’t had time for;
- take apart wardrobes, beds, kitchens and keep the screws in labelled bags;
- carry out, load and strap everything down in the van so nothing slides around;
- carry in at the new address, reassemble the furniture and put it where you want it;
- take the boxes and film away with us.
How much a move costs
The minimum order starts at 450 ₴, and a flat move with movers from 650 ₴. For a rough idea there’s the calculator on the home page: it shows a range for your case in half a minute. We give the final sum before we start. It doesn’t change, even if we get stuck in a jam on Horodotska or have to wait for the keys to the new flat.
You pay once everything is in place and you’ve checked your things.
Office moves
Offices usually move at the weekend so the team is working again on Monday. Before the move we agree what goes where: you can simply label the boxes with room numbers. Computers, printers and documents are packed separately and travel first. For companies and sole traders we work by bank transfer with a contract and a completion act.
How to prepare
Agree with the building management on the lift and a parking spot by the entrance, especially in the centre. Defrost the fridge a day ahead. Keep documents, money and medicine with you. Everything else is our job.
